Healing Digestive Disorders: Natural treatments for gastrointenstinal conditions Battling digestive disorders for the majority of my life has been both frustrating and painful. I've read many, many books on the subject, and this one is my favorite. With relaxation techniques, relaxation bath treatment recommendations, natural therapy and homeopathic suggestions for common digestive disorders and even a Digestive Meal Plan (which temporarily worked for me, despite its difficulty), the book helps sufferers uncover what it is that may be causing their ills, as well as ways in which to "stop the cycle" of pain and suffering.

Not only limited to people with the usual suspects - colitis, Crohn's, ulcers - but also for those with eating disorders, canker sores, colon cancer, candidiasis, diverticulitis and even diarrhea, this book has suggested cures and comfort suggestions for them all. It also includes recipes, acupuncture point charts, homeopathic recipes and a list of resource centers for more information or support.

The book was written by Gaeddert, who suffered from Crohn's and IBS, and has studied nutrition, herbology and Chinese medicine, and is the president of Health Concerns, a clinic in California that specializes in treating these sorts of conditions.

This book has helped me through some difficult times. I've read other books regarding curing IBD or IBS, especially those touting certain diets (and tried them), but none have worked as well as the ideas and therapies mentioned in this book. Though I often neglect or forget about the techniques mentioned and the suggestions given, I am thankful to have "Healing Digestive Disorders" on my bookshelf for suggestions. I highly recommend it for anyone who is sick of being sick.
