About Sandi Kenny
Do you believe in soul mates? What about fate? Imagine being stranded in a bed and breakfast with a stranger during a storm. Could you find true love in one weekend? That's the plot of Nicholas Sparks' latest work.
Adrienne Willis' daughter, Amanda, has been recently widowed. Determined to pull her daughter from the depths of depression, and give her a better future, Adrienne tells her the story of a secret weekend that changed her life.
After being painfully rejected by her husband for a younger woman, Adrienne Willis agreed to manage a friend's bed and breakfast for the weekend. Her only guest was Paul Flanner, a man with his own wounds. As a storm moved in, the two turned to each other for comfort and found a lot more; a weekend that changed the course of their lives forever.
After reading Nights in Rodanthe, I felt like anything was possible. I love Nicholas Sparks' books because they are easy to read in an afternoon without losing any of the plot found in longer books. I also highly recommend The Notebook, Message in a Bottle, Walk to Remember and Bend in the Road. If you've seen the movies based on two of his books, Message in a Bottle and Walk to Remember; all I can say is these movies do not do his books justice! So, curl up one of these cold winter weekends and warm up to Nights in Rodanthe.
