A low carbohydrate cookbook filled with tasty meals.

The great thing about this cookbook is that it is meant for people on the go that are concerned about how many carbohydrates they take into their bodies. Meals take 10 to 30 minutes to make and each recipe gives a list of calories, protein, fat, cholesterol, fiber, sodium and carbohydrates that you will find from the meal. Besides the information listed above, on each page you will find a shopping list of what to buy for the recipe, as well as helpful hints and approximately how long it will take to make your meal.
Near the beginning of the book, there are several quick start dinners which take no more than 30 minutes to complete, a 14-day quick start menu plan and further on in the book she also has a 14-day low carbohydrate menu plan.
The author has given a list of tips for eating out, a list of easy ways to make some of the meals in the recipe book "special events" and she has included a low-carb food guideline. Since vegetables have carbohydrates, the book gives you a list of which vegetables have more carbohydrates than others as well as a guideline of what vegetables you can devour regularly and which ones you should limit yourself to small quantities.
Low-Carb Meals in Minutes is a fun recipe book that gives you an opportunity to eat great meals without feeling guilty about eating too many carbs. The meals are delicious, the recipes are easy to follow, they don't take up too much of your time in the kitchen which leaves more time to spend with your family or loved one.
My favorite section was the breakfast section because it gave me a chance to have more than just a bowl of cereal in the morning. I was getting so bored of having the same thing all the time but with these quick breakfast meals, I was able to go to work or start my day with a new, interesting and tasty meal without having to worry about missing the bus!
Give this cookbook a chance because Linda Gassenheimer has a lot of ideas to share and I believe that you will love many of the recipes she has to offer you.
