Joan Prefontaine

Joan Prefontaine was a regular book reviewer for Christianity and the Arts until the magazine ceased publication in 2001. Her writing has also appeared in Lake Country Journal, Bloomsbury Review, Midwest Quarterly and other publications. Several of her poems are included in the anthology, 33 Minnesota Poets (Nodin Press, 2000). She has a BA in English from Carleton College and a MA in Theology and Art from United Theological Seminary.

Joan lives with her husband Paul on a small lake in central Minnesota. Besides reading, she enjoys travel, art, photography, swimming and cross-country skiing. She likes to take long walks, looking for animal tracks in the woods.
